I still have cassettes & Vinyl discs... Floating about my home.

I had the entire Monkees TV series on VHS; I bought it from Columbia House via subscription. Ended up paying way more than the current Blu-Ray version is going for.

Here in S.E.A., until around mid80s to late 90s-VHS/vcr were the only medium for abt 15-18 years to watch latest US movies n HK tv shows, unless you had cable tv or maybe satellite tv if they were around yet. In mid to late 90s, VCDs came on strong here n were ubiquitous so VHS/VCR slowly started dying out. I watched a lot of VHS shows, more than VCDs. By 1999 or early 2000s, DVDs started killing both formats here in S.E.A.

My landlords mom ard 2010 was still watching/recording tv shows on probably hundreds of video tapes. (Which my older brother was also doing ard 1993-1998)

(Still hv dozens of video tapes that my late dad had of old chinese kungfu shows tat i dont hv a player n im not a fan of those shows, probably gonna throw them in the trash cos they're probably not playable anymore, just hvnt got round to throwing them out.)

So Ive watched lots of VHS/VCD/DVD since mid80s, but ive never watched BR cos theyre too expensive, the discs n the players i mean. I prefer DVDs but they're kinda dead/dying out. I also tried the tv media player thingie but getting shows n connecting to my tv was too difficult.

I hvnt checked but the weather here in tropical S.E.A. means its probably moldy n unplayable. Even some of my DVD-Rs tat were exposed to the sun tat i never watched even were faded n unplayable by the time, a few years later, when i tried to play them.

I just found some attitude era wrestling VHS tapes in one of my boxes and still have a VHS player

I watched a lot of movies in VHS, one of my favs was Spy kids 2.

You mean home video... We never called them vhs. We just called em tapes or we were taping : /
But yeah we had those in my gen. :) (always had to record the news at 6pm sharp until 7pm sharp for old man)

I rarely called them VHS unless dad had to fix it up, then he'd use the long way of saying it.
