I personally would feel very uncomfortable not tipping because of the fact that if I don’t tip, the server is possibly working for half what minimum wage is or so for each hour I’m there. Their minimum wage is much lower than the minimum wage for other jobs because the restaurants assume that the customers will pay enough to make the server earn a reasonable amount for working. I’m not necessarily super stingy but I don’t often spend much in excess, but unless the server was terrible I wouldn’t pass on tipping.

0% because in most European countries, workers are paid the minimum wage.
Also, in Belgium, service is not like most people are used to. They don't really check on you once you get your food, because we like to enjoy our food and hate to be bothered, so service here is minimal.
Sometimes when Belgians pay cash, they will just leave the change when it's a couple of cents or euro pieces.

the last time we went out to eat my dad tipped 100 pesos + the price of the food that probably goes anywhere from 5,000 pesos to 15,000 maybe? we can't really tip much because we're not that rich either
