300-400, i love anime :llama_cheer: recently watched Violet Evergarden

I have been watching it recently too, has been really good so far : )

I've watched so much anime throughout my life... I don't even know what the amount would total to. However, I pretty much stopped about 5ish years ago. No reason for it, really. It just kinda... happened lol. Though, every once in a blue moon I'll watch something. 1 or less a year.

I had bit of of break while back, didn't watch much anime in 2 years, but lately i have been watching tons, somehow got back into it ^^

I used to watch it all the time but since I got into kpop I haven't watched it as much. Right now, I just rewatch the animes I already like and I'm less pressed about watching the new ones. I want to get back into it though and I definitely still like it. I'd say I've watched close to a hundred? Not sure honestly.

This looks like a lot.... But I have been watching Anime for over 20 years.

Some of my favourite shows are The Monogatari Series, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, Kiddy Grade, Minami Ke, Clannad After Story, Kanon (2006), Shakugan no Shana, Black Lagoon, Nagi no Asukara & Gurren Lagaan..

Ah yea i did later on realise some of mine are movies and other stuff too, not necessary all full seasons of anime oops ^^;

Its just interesting to me cause everything for kids that came on TV when i was a kid was anime so its sth i grew up with ^^

Not to sound competitive OP but I've seen over 700+ anime titles in my life so far

But these past 3 years or so ive been watching less and less anime. I sorta keep up with what's going on in the anime community because of Twitter and such but i'm pretty behind on anime in general lol.

I recently made a MAL account to get a general idea of how many shows I've actually watched over the years. Surprisingly, I haven't watched (and finished-- I tend to drop shows easily) as much as I'd thought.... I watched the most during 2010-2012. After that I starting watching mostly kdramas and put anime on hold while also reading more manga. Feeling pretty done with kdramas so I'm going back to anime again. Ratings and word-of-mouth are important factors towards what I choose to watch. 🔍 I'm a little picky. So unfortunately I've probably only watched 95 shows at most. I thought it'd be well over 100. If I count the things I didn't finish it definitely would be.
