Just DNF'd two books after the first five chapters (roughly 30 minutes audiobook) were boring. I DNF pretty aggressively.

I used to give books more of a chance, but I slogged through some mid af books last year.

depends on why I am there, if I am looking to read a specific scene or moment, I will drag myself through even if it sucks
if not, I might yeet it in the first 5 minutes

I have hate read some books in full, like, I want to be able to accurately describe all the ways in which this book sucks.

That's fair. I drop books immediately if I come across something gross I wasn't prepared to read.

That makes sense to me. I feel like nonfiction does need a bit more time to set the stage, especially if the topic is dense or complicated, but you can get the tone for a YA book immediately.

When I was younger, I would want to finish even if it sucked just to know the ending. Now I realize I can just google it and save myself the pain

I have a friend like that, and he's currently ignoring his entire TBR because he hates his current read, but is also one of those people who has to finish a book if he reads even a sentence of it.

I'm like.... life is too short to spend my time wading through any media that isn't even fun to hate. There are tons of alternatives!
