How much time do you need to pack for a trip? (1 Viewer)

In the past I would need at least a month of planning for outfits. I used to vacation at my aunts in Cali for months >.>
Honestly, I overpacked considering half of my suitcase was left untouched.

I've got a month long trip coming up with my brother. A healing trip for the both of us...although it's actually a work trip for him I'll be working too but remote.
But the rest is healing since we had to say bye to my pup.
On that note I'm definitely a mess. Any time I try to talk to family about I feel a disconnect. And my brother and I havnt exactly touched the topic since the day it happened. I have a reliable friend tho and a few on here too that have been that confronting pillow so thank you <3

I've been mentally planning outfits and buying things but I have yet to actually note down what I need and start putting things in the suitcase. I have exactly 9 days left. >.>
I feel like it's enough time but I havent packed for this long of a trip in a while and I dont want to overpack like last time, plus I know ill be buying stuff there so gotta leave room.

3 days, for me its enough to wash anything that needs washing, buy everything that needs buying and iron everything that needs ironing, i also overpack a lot bcs i like to have options
