How much variety do you need in your meals? (1 Viewer)

I have a coworker who eats the same thing every single day: a ham and cheese sandwich with a red apple. He told me that it used to be turkey, but he "switched it up" about 10 years ago and now it's ham.

I can tolerate the same meal maybe 4 times a week. I've been eating fajita stir fry leftovers for the past week, and today's day 5 is really pushing my tolerance.

I am very picky, I need to have different foods on a daily basis. Only vegetables are pretty much what I can eat the same for a few days. Like during summers I tend to eat a salad which is a mix of vegetables like cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, corn, lettuce, potatoes and sometimes I switch the potatoes with pasta. But meat is a different story like I cannot have the same thing twice a week.

I am honestly the type to need consistency. Eating the same meal everyday for me is what I enjoy doing. I can call it a day with a sandwich and be content

Man, I'd kill for that! It has to be nice to not have the "so, what will I eat today?" mental conversation every single day.

I can do with the same food for consecutive days. For me, food is just a way to get energy for the day. Sure, there are some that are more tasty than others but I feel grateful for just being able to eat for the day.

I have limited foods I like but will switch things up a bit. Like this week I had a butternut squash risotto and paired it with corn and shrimp one day and salmon and zucchini another. And then today I had the remaining zucchini and shrimp

I don’t even like having one cuisine for a week straight because it’s not enough variety

Man, I'd kill for that! It has to be nice to not have the "so, what will I eat today?" mental conversation every single day.

My mom usually wants to eat different everyday so most of the time I can't get away with it but very grateful that I'm trying to expand my horizons with eating!
