I only dress up when I'm going somewhere special.

It's a shame, though, because I have these clothes that I like but I don't dare wear them somewhere around here...
I should be more open/vulnerable and wear them out though.

I wish I had a life where I was always overdressed/dressed well.​

same as you op, i dress up only on special occasions. however i don't quite mind, dressing up is something i find quite time-consuming and tiring ngl. wearing the clothes isn't really the problem, i have quite a few cute clothes that i love wearing... accessorizing however is annoying, and i often end up skipping it lol. and i'm not much of a makeup person, so there's that too

ultimately, i'm too lazy to dress up, unless it's something really special

Definitely, it can be hard for me to dress up when I wake up 15 minutes before I have to leave the house. I did that this morning and I ended up grabbing my dirty laundry and just taking the same outfit I wore to class on Monday

I need to go through my clothes and put the ones that match together, that would probably help me with finding inspiration haha.

In some places like Sweden dressing up is just a normal part of going out which is an interesting thought but for me personally I just do it when I have reason to and I'm not all that interested how I look to a bunch of strangers
