Even SM backed down the stylist threatened to release evidence. The victim and their family came forward via legal representatives and they have proof they sent HYBE and are willing to disclose it publicly, yet HYBE still acts like they and Garam are the sole victims in all this. Any other sane company would have taken pause with their victimizing statements and at least put the member on hiatus. With increasing evidence against Garam, they continue to promote her as if nothing is happening.

They are ruining their corporation's entire reputation just for this 1 member and because it makes no business sense it seems to me that another entity is blackmailing HYBE to completely shield Garam at all costs.

HYBE's response to the recent release of information from the alleged victim's side. The "sexual assault" part might be a mistranslation, probably meant abuse in general.

i said this before too, hybe should've kicked her out. if she wasn't in the group, this would've stayed within her school boundaries. but now it's basically the whole of kpop community, and their eyes on her.

The cases of teenagers being taken lightly just because they are 18 which is a social construct by itself has caused so many problems. What about teenagers or even kindergarten age kids who rape people of their own age? This all should be taken way more seriously. The case should not be looked down upon just because she was young, the victim committed suic*de and would be scarred for the rest of her life. And she is the representative of millions of school bully cases. If the case is correct Garam better be kicked to be a lesson for everyone. Honestly, I always say it. Kids as young as age 4-5 do know "Bullying is bad" just by common sense so age is never an excuse, some other kids might need more than common sense to learn that and she is a good case for this.

just for the record, she only attempted to take their life after the allegation came out & hybe denied them, causing them to receive death threats and threats of doxxing; the attempt did not happen 4 years ago when she was being bullied by garam but recently. i'm not trying to downplay garam's abuse, but to say that garam directly pushed them to take their own life is a very serious claim.

Not saying people need to ignore this. But the way it’s being handled publiclyWe don’t know for a fact who did what, when, and where. It’s still all ‘apparently’ and ‘supposedly’ from screenshots.
my concern is what will happen after. The harassment strangers will throw at them. Will the two be safe if there is a conclusion? Court of public opinion tears down teenagers in the limelight in general.

It’s happened so many times. Some come out of it fine, others not so much.
