Having knowledge that those things were happening and participating in the conversations seems enough imo for people to want to avoid him. If she’s fine with that okay I guess but in her place i definitely wouldn’t want to really interact with him, let alone date him. Though we don’t have solid proof they’re dating either.

I agree with you. What we can see is that people seemingly avoid him, even his ex members, which speaks a lot. Ofc, we don’t exactly know what happened, but this is a questionable choice from her, even if they are not dating, just making music together.

Particularly that from what I read he said he did watch the videos and participate in conversations and admitted it himself. And he didn’t try to use the excuse that he didn’t know they were coerced, or drugged, and often filmed without their consent. His best excuse was that he didn’t realize that it’s illegal, which really isn’t the issue with doing those things. The issue is that it’s plain old wrong, legality aside. I feel that if he didn’t know those things he would have said so because he’d look better, so the fact that he didn’t address a single one of them really makes it seem like he was aware of those things and didn’t care. Might be a bit of a leap but that’s just what it seems like to me. Especially since he and the company already tried claiming he wasn’t involved at all.

I’ve seen people claim that it was one video rather than multiple but that’s already a yikes if he watched one video and made those kinds of comments. Plus the apology was ignoring the actual victims of the case. I highly doubt he’s as bad as Jonghoon or JJY but it shouldn’t be a congratulations for not being like them, so I don’t get defending him after that just because he wasn’t as bad. Or, in Hyunas case, associating with them, whether a collab or dating.
