As some of you may know, I lowkey have a fear of dogs (if they're a certain size or if I hear one barking but don't know where it's coming from). Well, on my walk today, I was passing the library (I live just off of an industrial street) when I heard a menacing growl. I looked to my right, and there he was - an angry, vicious-looking little terrier. At least, I think he was a terrier, definitely a small dog. But anyway, you can bet I ran like the wind while screaming "GET HIM AWAY FROM ME!" Luckily, he was on a leash and his owner did manage to hold him back. But MAN! Y'all, this is why I'm more of a cat person.

And before anybody says "It's usually the owner that's the problem", I know that full well but am still afraid of mean dogs.

Yeah tbh whatever the owners ability or non ability to train the dog it doesn’t change that the dogs the one trying to bite you, not the owner, so the owner being the problem here wouldn’t be relevant if someone tried to say that. It’s good everything ended up fine, but sounds like a rough situation to deal with.
