I also figured people end school in MAY?! WOW LUCKY…
Anyways, my wishes for the school year are to be left alone and no one bother me OR I get some friends and someone who will accept me and make me feel good about myself…

when I was younger my school ended in June and started in August, but based on those times summer would only be about half over. Does your school start significantly early than the end of August or end in early June or something?

Schools just starts like the last ?week? of school and it constantly changes each year. When I was in 3rd grade it started and or 3rd week of August
I do know school ends really late June. Not the 20th but later.
I count summer as break even though summer ends the Sep 22

Right but if you end school at the end of June and start school at the end of August, wouldn’t that mean you’re one month into break and one month away from starting? Meaning you’re halfway through break? If I was counting until the end of official summer it would only be 1/3 of the way through, not 1/2.

When I used to go to school we also went in summer and got like what? 2 weeks of rest in between. It was kinda bc we were a “special” school. Funny you would think those students would be doing amazing rn.
Now that I’m in med school it is a complicated situation. I usually need to take exams in summer, but there is no class. Italy ‘s fuckass system.

I feel sorry for all of us experiencing this.

Dang, timelines have shifted so much. Here, schools don't go back until mid-to-late August, but that has a lot to do with a legacy of being a big farming state where kids were needed for doing shows, buying/selling animals, getting ready for fall, etc.

My aunts a teacher in a farming state and they don’t start until September because of the farming stuff. I definitely didn’t grow up in one of those, so we started at the very end of August instead.
