When I grew up there was no internet (at least not for private households) and I wasn't interested in computers when I was a teenager. I got my first PC when Microsoft released Windows 98. I hated that OS! For me the fun started with Windows 2000.

XP and 7 were good too after their last Service Packs, Windows 10 is technically ok but way too bloated. The latest Windows 11 version is completely screwed! Better don't use Windows 11 24H2 (or at least make a backup before updating).
