I would highly recommend it then for when you're ready for it and have time to actually watch it
not a lot happens, but it's one of those lingerers, those movies that might not seem like much in the moment but that continue to linger for a long time afterwards

I was like that for la la land. And not for the romance but for just like the feeling the movie gave me. Literally cried for half an hour. Idk if im sane

worst (or at least one of the worst) decisions I made was to watch in the mood of love at night knowing full well how wong kar wai's entire thing is about that feeling of loneliness amidst the bustle of city life... never again, would not recommend 0/10 unless you enjoy questioning your decisions while in that overthinking zone

after life was another one I watched late at night that I still don't understand the rationale behind
but la la land had some really nice musical numbers, I actually learnt city of stars on the piano a few years ago

it was my third fav movie of last year (maybe bumped down now by aftersun, will need longer to determine) actually, right after tar and decision to leave
