I could never be a famous music artist (1 Viewer)

Ignoring the fact that my singing and dancing are questionable at best

But I could not sit through an award show listening to stuff I don’t like and keeping a straight face. I am too expressive

reminds me of ma li (?) at the last weibo awards who, after hearing the host say it's already halfway through the ceremony, very visibly mouthed "it's only halfway?" and put her hand on her temple

she's an incredible actress, apart from the golden rooster, golden horse, hundred flowers, magnolia most award shows are also basically participation trophies so it's extra funny because she realistically doesn't have much to gain there going to 271 iscream apart from serving looks and getting some irrelevant prize to maintain relations w the kiwi

it's really funny because usually at least the younger female celebs are ready to sit around and gossip (there was that viral gif from 2024 season where zhang linghe I think was squished between maybe zhou ye and meng ziyi yapping) and you can sometimes catch a few people sneaking onto their phones but it's so blatantly obvious that most don't really want to sit through it it's hilarious
