a reaction thread to 5SOS's latest album! It came out like... *counts* three and a half months ago, and I just realized I never got around to reacting to it! 
1) Complete Mess - if online dictionaries had sound clips with their definitions, this should totally go with the word "earworm", and that's not a bad thing!
2) Easy for You to Say - Luke's falsetto is just... AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! Harry Styles could never! (okay, he could lol but that's besides the point)
3) Bad Omens - I love the lyrics to this song, as well as the rhythm! Very danceable - I love that in a song.
4) Me, Myself & I - OMG the runs at the bridge, though!
5) Take My Hand - it's not my ultimate favorite on this album (don't ask me why, idek lol), but I still love it. I just happen to love others even more!
6) Carousel - listening to this song reminds me of driving with the windows/top down and the wind blowing in your hair. That's another thing I love in a song; it's a very pleasant mental image.
7) Older - this is also giving me a mental image, but this one is the members sitting in a circle by the fire and playing this. It's just really chill and laid back! It gives me... have y'all ever seen the MV for 1D's Little Things and how it's just them in the studio singing it? It's like that.
8) Haze - another road trip song! Also LOVE the high notes!
9) You Don't Go to Parties - this sounds very '80s-like with its retro, psychedelic beats, and I like that!
10) Blender - it reminds me of their single Teeth for some reason, and Teeth is one of my favorites on Calm!
If I had to rank these, it'd look like this:
