Wouldn’t a parent just want to hope for a healthy child, and if they don’t have a healthy child they will take those challenges as they come? Why celebrate (or be disappointed) if your child is born as one gender or another? And what if the child was born in the wrong body?​

I don't either. I plan on never having one either. It's a waste of money on top of what you already said. Just have a regular baby shower for crying out loud. The only real purpose those reveal parties have is starting forest fires apparently.

100% this. Sad but true. At least they advertise their transphobia instead of hiding it, so you don't have to speculate if you should avoid them or not.

Exactly! I have the belief that you should never give birth to any child unless you have zero preference at all for which gender you'd like the child to be. If it's that big of a deal, just adopt and request a specific gender, otherwise, suck it up and deal with it. In the grand scheme of things, I don't think someone's gender should dictate how much you love them or how well you treat them. It's something that can't be controlled, and is just blatant discrimination at a certain point.
