I don’t understand the recent hate towards Gehlee (1 Viewer)

Gehlee, who is 17, was previously a model. She has been getting hate recently on social media because apparently she is “doing too much” when the cameras are around. She has been accused of being a pick me /having main character syndrome for modelling in front of the cameras - something she was trained to do from a young age.

I find that a lot of things are very much like a double edged sword when it comes to some kpop fans. Like in one breath they are saying protect minirs and then next we see hate towards idols for doing things the way they know how/were taught

yeah sadly.. they are never serious about those things when the opportunity arises to be hateful There were so many examples of this again lately.. just think about the never ending hate LSFM has to endure. Eunchae is also still 17 and people say the meanest things

None of them deserve the hate but I can only imagine how bad it is for Eunchae at a young age. This is such a huge issue that happens over and over and over again - unfortunately Gehlee is just another target

I don't even feel like going to sites like Koreaboo anymore, I felt like in the past they always had drama, but also some lighthearted or fun content.. but recently from 10 articles it's like 9 about some idol getting hated for whatever reason. It's jsut an example ofc wiht koreaboo, but other places are not different
