I feel bad for G-idle right now (1 Viewer)

As you all know, G-idle member Soojin was caught in bullying and abuse allegations by 4 people and an actress. On top of that Minnie's older brother made a post asking fans to protect Soojin, adding fuel to what already is a huge dumpster-fire, making things worse and potentially causing Minnie herself to become a target for K-Netz. Then yesterday, Gidle's DC gallery made a post saying that they will, in fact, stop supporting Soojin. I think that this whole thing is very unfortunate and I feel bad for the rest of the members because if she doesn't leave, it will affect the group drastically. What do you all personally think about this?

i think it will affect the group whether she leaves or not. if she seriously turns out to be innocent then obviously i hope she doesn't leave, but when it comes to the situation as a whole i'd rather stay neutral because while we got a detailed statement from soojin, the only thing the actress who accused her of being a bully did was make vague social media posts

I see what you mean, knetz and kfans however, are already out there posting group photos without Soojin in them. Plus Gidle's dc gallery not supporting her is actually kind of a bigger deal than most people may realize.

I think it'll leave a mark on them either way as that's generally how scandals of this level go down but I feel like the accusers haven't said enough at this point to say Soojins guilty although the fansite dropping her makes me feel like there's something in Korea that hasn't reached ifans yet.

Yeah that is what I was basically saying in my last quote reply, DC gallery announcing that they will no longer be supporting her is a very big deal and people may not exactly realize how big of a deal it actually is. Scandals like this, you know it's got to be really extreme when fansites stop supporting you

Yeah in a scandal like this the fansites stopping supporting the idol means that the scandal is more likely to be true but I still would like more context on what she actually did since the information we're getting seems to be missing stuff that'd explain some things.

Yeah, I understand where you are coming from, I just hope that everything that needs to be shared is shared so that the whole situation is laid to rest because, I don't think that there's a need for this to be dragged on like this

I feel like these controversies always come up when group is doing great- especially around comebacks. It's rly unfortunate, bullying scandals are quite hard to prove in way or another. I think the group will be hit even if she leaves. But i'm not rly into pushing plp out of groups either especially if things aren't yet confirmed.

I understand, unfortunately, the situation becomes much harder when a major fansite stops supporting an idol. To me, that means that there is some truth to the accusations and that kfans and fansites know more than what ifans know
