it's been a while since i've been actively online on here but i started listening to my old kpop playlists a few weeks ago and got hit with a huge wave of nostalgia

i think i stopped listening to kpop because all the new groups and new content felt like too much for me and i think that break i took really helped me sort of recalibrate myself. i kind of grew back that soft spot i had for all my ults in the past so let's call this a reboot of my kpop era....? maybe... and i sort of missed that kind of community that i used to have being a kpop fan and i kind of wanted to feel that again 😭😭


BUT i have no idea who all these new groups are so if you have any group recs or recent releases you think i should check out leave them below !!

I've been listening to the relatively new group AMPERS&ONE a lot lately because I'm going to their concert in a couple of months. KickFlip is a new JYPE group that just debuted, and I liked their prerelease Umm Great. And I assume you caught XH's releases last year, Night Before the End was really good!!

Umm... I'm not really the person to ask for boy groups otherwise.

yes xdinary heroes is the only group i've been continually following (i've never left my villain era)
i do like ampers&one they're the only new group i know really 😭😭

AMPERS&ONE has a lot of fun music, so I'm excited to support them! I hope we can get more groups like them to tour more broadly.

Yeah, they literally just debuted this week! I think it'll be a fun year to be into kpop with all the major players planning at least one release. JYPE kinda snuck their group out first.

TWS has been arguably one of the biggest rookies of the past year. Their song Plot Twist wouldn’t leave the charts

XLOV only has one song as of right now, Imma Be, but they seem promising. 3/4 members were eliminated from Boys Planet 999 (the show that formed ZeroBaseOne). They have a “genderless” concept.
