it was about The Voice. This guy comes on and covers I'll Never Break Your Heart but with like a faster arrangement. Like... how do you even turn a sentimental love song into this upbeat party track? lol that's not even the weirdest part, though. He had an excuse for it - he had to be somewhere right after the audition, so that was why he sped it up.

speaking of unrecognizable, there was a Voice contestant irl who sang It's Gonna Be Me, but she made it sound so sad. Like, she had a new arrangement for it and everything! Thank God she got eliminated the following night! And this is exactly why I'm a wet blanket when it c omes to certain artists being covered.

Wait, I just thought of another pretty bad one. A guy covered Youngblood on The Voice for his Knockout perf, and he... butchered it. And that's putting it nicely! At first, he made it sound like a crooner, which was fine by me considering what he did next - he sang the chorus like it was some death metal song or something! Oh, it was AW-FUL!
