I had sort of an ethical dilemma related to an exam (1 Viewer)

Well for context this exam wasn’t styled like an exam. It was open book and we were given permission to discuss with classmates (as the answers involved critical thinking and not directly in the notes)

Well anyways, during our last class we determined an answer for a bonus question. The question was “what animal did we discuss last class?” The answer was platypus if anyone was curious. But here is where the dilemma comes in. 7/30 people attended that class and I was one of them. We were not to share the answer with people who did not attend that class. I did not share despite having four people ask me. Did I do the right thing by keeping the answer to myself?​

I think it was the right thing. Things have a way of getting around anyways so who knows, maybe the professor will find out you told them
