I hate it when idols perform in the rain (1 Viewer)

Leeseo ended up getting a cut on knee. I know it's not nearly as bad other groups had it (like Gfriend), but I wish they'd stop making them perform when the stage is slippery and wet. Who knows how badly someone could get injured next time

The funny thing is the cut isnt even because of the rain, but because of the stage and her kneeling on it.

I agree, rain is really dangerous , i remember Shinee even performed in an almost Hurrican kinda weather

Yeah, but some companies idk why dont do much or even let the idols not perform in bad weather, i get you get a cool performance under rain and what so...however not cool when injured and suffered a fracture...

I watched a bit (up to Myteen) and wow, they had a segment where no cuts had to happen because 3 falls happened in a row. Just goes to shsow how common it is in those conditions.

I think Jisung might have been injured, in a video of the end where they were getting off stage he was favoring the arm that he fell on and was holding for a bit after.

I think a few idols have actually gotten breaks from falls in the rain :( It truly is never worth the risk even if the photos afterward attract stans

This reminds me of this particular performance. I am pretty sure performing barefoot is just as bad as for wearing shoes or heels when it comes to a slippery stage.

Not only that, if you are unaware, in the summer seasons, occasionally, some labels have outdoor Water Bomb Concerts, where they have a sprinkler system scaffolding spraying above the artists while they perform to simulate rain, too, on sunny days. WTF????

I think their thoughts were ~ "Who cares if they get hurt? We don't. We'll overwork them even more by stressing them the hell out by having them eventually slip and fall during performances while being soaked in water."

I mean, for girl groups, it's bad enough they mostly wear heels for performances, then to stack sprinkler water and if the concert days somehow entails rainy weather, that's 3 times the danger they must worry about.

I think I was saying to moguri before that nothing will change unless someone gets massively injured ala wendy
since no my knowledge there has yet to be a case where an organiser or company has said
too dangerous for idols to perform show cancelled..
