lol yes, chickpeas are delicious.

I think they have a distinctive taste, though, so I'm not really on board with faking a real version of food by replacing it with chickpeas, but used intentionally, they're great.

They used to be one of my favorite dishes and biased when I say Indian chickpea recipes are godly.
I havnt gotten to making the chickpea dish I like because it takes a while. My grandma made the best channa nu shaak
Cold seasoned snack, theyre fun. Or cooked in a gravy, theyre comforting
Even the flour makes a delicious filling ingredient when seasoned properly

For me it's the other way around
I can eat both but when they're soft I just don't like the texture

actually, yes! I LOVE chickpeas, especially in my mom's homecooked meals. *sighs wistfully* man, I miss her cooking. Not that she's not with us anymore, but she's just so far away (about an hour) from me now. I mean, I do like my own homecooked meals, too, but... ok I'm getting off topic. lol

I love chickpeas, My uncle makes Chole puri sometimes, they are my fav curry for puri's and in general too, I enjoy them in gravy curries, so perfect
