Have you ever taught yourself an instrument? I knew clarinet and alto sax in high school, though I couldn't play them now. And I tried to teach myself the guitar in high school, but didn't enjoy it enough to get over that phase where I sucked at it lol

The guitar is hard!! And it's also pretty uncomfortable on your fingertips until you build up callouses, which I was never consistent enough with practicing to get to that point.
