Cats

•Both always let you know when your late for breakfast

•They want anything and everything that’s yours (when we were treating Penny in our home she had supervised run of the house and we had to guard our food because she’d perch next to our heads and try to quickly take a bite).


•Both are extremely curious

•Both have “no touchy” spots

•Both get zoomies

•Both are very vocal

•Both act like royalty and look at you as a poor peasant who must take care of them 24/7

•Both will hunt anything smaller than them

•Both get into things they know they shouldn’t and as you yell at them “no” they’ll look at you and do what they were told not to do.

So… if you cant get a cat, the simple solution is to get a chicken.

They’re very sweet animals tbh. Especially if raised in your home where they can hang out with you throughout the day. The only time they peck is when they’re curious about something like jewelry or something. At least in my experience. (however our roosters I would not recommend as a house pet They can be aggressive. But I’ve heard if roosters have no hens to protect that they’re actually just as sweet as your normal hen. )

Cats catch and kill 96% of their prey. They are the most successful and deadly hunters on planet earth. The only way a chicken will hurt you is if you tie knives to it's feet. If you tie knives to it's feel you deserve what you get.

Rhode Island reds are indeed cute. My last one was the sassiest, grumpiest chicken I've ever met though I miss her crankiness though that's for sure
