I have started to crochet a Wooble! (1 Viewer)

Wish me luck. I've tried to learn to crochet before, but something about it didn't click in my brain.

So far, though, I have to say I'm really impressed with their little 10-30 second step-by-step videos that make this basically idiot proof combined with confidence boosters and then only explaining why you're doing what you're doing after you've done it. It's like the right amount of information at the right times.

I will share when it's done! Even if it's ugly. I'm optimistic though! I'm matching the instruction videos pretty closely so far!

I bought it on impulse, but part of what helped me talk myself into keeping it is that I have a friend who has done three of these kits. So if I figure, worst case, I beg her for help.

But hopefully it won't come to that! I appreciate all the well wishes.

I'd never heard of it until a friend started these kits and randomly sent me a "look what I made!" text.

I got the Squid Game Red Light, Green Light girl. I'm impressed with the attention to detail! Like the instructions in the package are sealed in an envelope that matches the circle, triangle, square motif from the show.

This actually gave me motivation to finish my crochet projects that I stopped

I'm hoping to finish it today! Apparently I picked a relatively harder one to start with, but I'm pleased to do something that's personally hard and see it come together!

I hope you share when you finish your projects too!

this thread has just made me also google what a wooble is - they look really adorable so good luck!! as someone who also picked up a handcrafting hobby some time ago i know how it feels when you need to have everything explained to you but i believe you'll be great at crocheting
