I improved the UK flag (1 Viewer)

But first, my obligatory fun fact Did you know that the flag of the UK uses the flags of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland (ish)? They took the Red Cross from the English, blue background of the Scottish flag, and the red diagonal cross of Northern Ireland (ish). Below you can see how it’s made.

But you know which constituent country of the UK is missing? Wales. You know who also has the coolest flag out of the constituent countries? You’re right, Wales. And if you don’t know the flag of Wales, well now you do because i put it below. And I’m sure you’ll agree because how could you not

So, I took it upon myself to fix this issue. Check out the new flag which I have put into a spoiler for dramatic effect I think it’s wonderful. If any high ranking UK government official happens to be on KS and sees this, you have my permission to propose it to parliament

Yes, Wales was considered part of England. But in modern times, it’s considered an independent constituent country along with Scotland, England, and Northern Ireland. Now that it’s considered separate from England, why not add it to the flag, given that the current flag of Wales isn’t represented at all anymore?

Many flags incorporate past flags in their own. The most common is the Union Jack, it’s found on flags for many countries, territories, and states/regions. Even the state flag of Hawaii has a union jack

It's objectively better, I think the UK is obligated to use it now.

I might improve on it and maybe change the red diagonals to green since Ireland is no apart of the UK (and it still colonised) and I want there to be bad colour theory on this

When you say Ireland, are you talking about Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, or both? I’m just a bit confused about why a green diagonal makes more sense.

Oh I thought that the green was because of the flag of the Republic of Ireland having green but it didn’t make sense with the context But the green diagonals would be quite interesting. Sounds a bit monstrous, if I want to create something frightening I may give that a shot Though I do think it would help with the over abundance of red on this flag
