Be honest. Tell him that if he continues to be so negative that you'll have to cut him from your life. It's not fair for you to endure someone so negative and that's it's having a domino effect on you because you want to commit murder. (lol, sry) Even if they are a good person, you matter more than anything else so. Do what you will. I've been there done that. People don't have to change for others, but they shouldn't try to change others because of what they believe in. Let's hope he seeks professional help and can find genuine happiness in life.
