Just letting you know :haylul:
smote
Hey officially language changes over time with usage; so if Panda says smited(if enough users-language speakers follow it) i agree it's smited!!!! [I gave up the fight over decimation ages ago which actually means 1 in 10 killed or maybe destroyed; there's a perfect massacred or destroyed instead but ig ppl wanted to show off their education/smartness by using a multisyllabic (then-)obscure or which made others look it up in a dictionary or ask for provenance; thus proving the sayer is intelligent/book smart but which in my then opinion more imprecise, when massacre or destroyed was perfectly usable. Ofc decimation is now old hat so can't prove smartness by using it but still being used sometimes shifted meaning to massacre or destroyed.

tldr: smited is wat Panda said, smited is wat ill use when past tense of smite is warranted next time: smote feels more like a tiny mite or opposite of plural of mote!!!

LMAO I actually thought it was smited
My friend and I have argued about what the past tense of smite was and I finally looked it up

Honestly I don't think smote sounds right either but hey, English is a weird language LMAO
