I never understood people only listening to one kpop group (1 Viewer)

I can understand stanning only one group, but listening?? Sometimes you only connect with one on a special level, that’s understandable. But how can one only listen to one group? ​

I like kinda get it but kinda don't. So many K-pop groups offer different things to me it's a bit close-minded if someone listens to one group only and considers themself a K-pop fan.

In what sense? Like if you go in weeks or months where yoh only listen to one artist but eventually branch out that makes sense. Hyperfixations are a thing. But if you willingly only ever listen tone one group and disregard others, then I don’t understand it

i mostly listen to one artist for like a week to a month max and then I branch out, but I could never listen to only one group, I'd get bored instantly lol

Nowadays I'm too erratic to stan only one group/soloist. At the beginning I searched for Western Rock influences in K-Pop. Dreamcatcher fit the bill. But now I'm searching for Western Rock songs with K-Pop influences. When I listen to Rock/Metal songs now I often have thoughts like:
- "In K-Pop there would be a beat change now."
- "Why isn't there a rap part? It would fit perfectly."
- "What are you doing? Anti-drop! Now!"
- "Don't just stand there guys! Dance!"


K-Pop is highly addictive.
