I honestly don’t know what to think if it I do love early Avril but her new stuff is just too pop for me. I just miss that bad ass attitude from her early two albums

The best damn thing was when she went full pop punkish music. I like her new album a lot more than the others.
She sings a lot better and clearer and her lyricism is more sharp and on point imo.

I actually liked that song a lot. It was cute and a bit silly, but mostly cute.
That is probably since I can't really fault her for anything. Too much of a fan lol

The fact she tries to be different musically on her later albums is a brave thing.
Head above water that I think is actually better than even her debut. It incorporates everything that made her what she is.
