Currently staying in a place where the people hosting speak French. Me trying to communicate was not happening. When I say my French was broken, it was bRoKeN 🤡

I’ve had French at high school but I forgot most of it. I can still introduce my self, my name, where I’m from, my age etc. And I can order things. Simpeler things and words like counting or months and days.
Don’t they speak English?

Not well, their English was as good as my French but we both made an effort and thats what counts
