Quick set up of the story: I work for a janitorial business and for the past two weeks have been getting trained on cleaning this big warehouse and today I did a bit of an oopsie
There’s this one bathroom I have to mop but I don’t want to carry the very heavy mop bucket up all of those stairs so I just make sure the mop itself is wrung out good enough to walk up the stairs with it. And I’m not familiar with the height of the ceilings and how long the mop is and I… may have broken a piece of one of their light fixtures And did I tell them? Nope
In my defense it was a very tiny piece, the light itself is still working it’s just the thing that covers the bulb has a tiny hole now courtesy of mwah
It’s not the first time I’ve broken something while working with this janitorial business either (I’m usually not that clumsy but at work it comes out for some reason). I’ve broken a cup because I wasn’t paying attention and knocked it off while wiping down the counters and I broke a decorative glass thingy by accidentally hitting it with the end of a really long duster.
