I Relate More To BLACKPINK Than Twice (1 Viewer)

Hello! I know how this makes me sound, but a few disclaimers:

I am a Once and I do love Twice and all their members. They’re amazing. This is not made to hate on the group or the fans at all, simply to state an unpopular opinion. All of the Twice girls have an amazing personality and both Twice and BLACKPINK are great, but full disclosure, I do slightly prefer BLACKPINK in general, so this will be biased.

Okay, now that all of those are out of the way, let’s get to the juicy part. In my biased opinion, Twice feel more like celebrities and BLACKPINK just feel like a group of friends that met if that makes sense. Neither one of those is a bad thing, and one is not better than the other. But, I guess what I mean is, when I watch BLACKPINK content, they all feel really close, and their reactions and what they do feel like what I would do. With Twice, I feel that sometimes, but not quite as often.

In short, to me, BLACKPINK feels more relatable. I don’t know why, they just do. A lot of people say stuff like how BLACKPINK feel like coworkers or aren’t really close, or they aren’t funny, only fan edits of them are, but that’s simply not true. Watch clips of them with an open mind and you’ll find out they’re actually hilarious.

Most people who know both groups find Twice more relatable between the two groups because of their Next Door Neighbor vibes, but BLACKPINK appeals to me more, despite their Luxury vibes. If I look past their images, BLACKPINK just seem more relatable to me.

Now, do remember that this is my opinion and you’re allowed to disagree. I just wanted to share it because I think it’s pretty unpopular, and because I’m tired of people shading BLACKPINK’s personality (not on here, just online in general). Have a great day/night!

I must have worded something wrong. That wasn’t so much my main point. I do think Twice are close, but I think BLACKPINK are just as close or closer and don’t get nearly as much credit for it. I was more so trying to focus on how I feel towards the groups in regards to their personalities and how much I click with their personality, if that makes sense.

You may just click with certain groups personalitys more. Same goes with their music. Doesn’t mean you care about the girls any less. I ult IVE and also ult NewJeans but I relate more to NewJeans

I’m just a baby Once and learning their personalities so I couldn’t comment there. But relating it to something I do know, I get your point. Fans are very protective of their fave and any slight bit “favourtism” towards other groups is seen a negative. It doesn’t make you any less of a fan especially if you’re a multi.

twice are literally thee most down to earth celebs ever. like show me another girlgroup who always cares for their staff members even if they’re on schedule/ filming time to twice, show me another girlgroup who is constantly praised by the staff of award shows because of their humbleness and kindness towards ever staff member. you can’t. cause a thing like twice is really really rare in kpop, it really is
