Allow me to take this moment to share my experiencing of seeing IU live in concert and the admiration that I have for this insanely talented and wonderful artist! 
Not only was it dream (for the longest time) to one day see IU, it was a dream that I believed would only ever remain as such. A dream.... And, honestly, even now, this still feels like a euphoric dream that I am about to wake up from......
However, I know that what happened wasn't a dream at all! When I heard that IU was coming to London for her first ever concert in Europe, I knew that I had to take this opportunity to see her. Because it was almost impossible to get tickets to a show in Asia. But I can now say that I have seen IU at one of her highly sought after concerts!
And what a concert it was!! For years I have only ever heard countless fellow Uaenas say that you have to hear IU live to fully appreciate just how talented of an artist that she is, and they weren't wrong.
The mic was 100% on throughout IU's full 3+ hours that she spent on stage, as she showcased her versatile and dynamic artistry. Her dynamic abilities as a vocalist were unlike anything that I have ever experienced before during a concert. As I was captivated by her soft and gentle voice that soothed, and then awoken from that captivation every time that she hit her powerful high notes, note after note...
IU's full vocal colour range, coupled with her amazing live band, just made the whole performance perfect in every way possible, and I can honestly say that this was the greatest concert experience that I have ever had!
The absolute icing on the cake, was when IU performed 'Love Poem' during the En-Encore..... I was gutted that IU omitted Love Poem from the setlist of her HEREH World Tour, as this song holds a lot of emotional meaning to me..... During 2021, when I was going through a very difficult period of time with my Dad's cancer diagnoses and the death of my beloved cat whom I had for 20 years. One of the ways that I tried dealing with it all was listening to music, and I found the lyrics to Love Poem as one of comfort.
So, when the time for what songs were to be performed during the En-Encore, I was praying that Love Poem would be chosen, and it happened!! I won't lie when I say that I struggled with holding back my emotions as IU performed Love Poem. And by the time that she ended her performance of this beautiful song, I could feel the slight glisten of tears beginning to form.... There were way too many highlights from the concert and I loved every second and every song that was performed. But hearing Love Poem will always be in my memory.....
But, back to happier stuff, yeah?
I've said for a long time now that I was done with concerts, but would only ever make an exception if the opportunity to see IU ever arose. That opportunity eventually came and I have finally seen IU. However, was last night my final ever concert? I have to say, if the opportunity ever comes to me where I can see IU again, I am taking a hold of that opportunity!
And you'll notice a lack of many photos or videos on my part....
I was absolutely captivated by IU's ethereal performance and had no time to waste on videos or photos.
I wanted to fully immerse myself in the moment and come away from this concert with the memories and emotions that I experienced on this wonderful night!

Now onto my feelings of my pride as an Uaena and how IU managed to fill out Wembley Arena......
If you watched this video without any context, you'd think that this could've been in Seoul..... But, nope! The crowd singing this IU song in Korean was in Wembley Arena in the UK!!!
IU has never promoted her music in Europe or to an English speaking audience.
And yet, despite all of that.
IU sold out an arena in the UK and had the whole crowd singing along to her songs in Korean.
IU did that!! IU is proof that talent and true art for music is enough to transcend distance and language!
I am immensely proud of her (because she was really worried going into this part of the tour) for managing to achieve such a feat. And I am also happy, that as an Uaena, that I was able to be a part of this immense milestone in IU's career, as she performed outside of Asia for the very the first time in her long and illustrious career.
