Appreciation I saw Lee Jaewook in Milan yesterday (1 Viewer)

So, me and my friend randomly booked flight tickets to Milan for the weekend because the ticket prizes were so good.
(Note: I’m European.)
After we arrived, we found out that it’s actually Milan Fashion Week.
Long story short, while we were looking around in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which is a shopping place (and a nice building) with fancy stores, we spotted a crowd in front of the Prada shop.
And if there are too many people, pushing each other to see someone with cameras what we do? Ofc, join them!
At first, we can’t see anything cuz omg the amount of people. So, I asked a girl who is inside and she said it’s a Korean singer or actor. I wasn’t satisfied with only this, so asked 3 tall guys next to me and one of them said, it’s an Italian football player. I said, but others say it’s a singer. They said “there is no singer, just singles”. Flirt on next level. I asked other people around me, but as the crowd get bigger, half of the people also just came to see what’s going on and didn’t know who is the guy in the shop. Prada has big windows there and all of us could see it’s a Korean guy, but all we could see was his back cuz he never turned towards the crowd. One of his bodyguard looked at the people nervously as the crowd was huge at his point. Some people gave up cuz he was inside for a long time and we got closer and closer to the store’s door. I asked a girl again who is inside and finally, she showed me Lee Jaewook’s insta profile. And while we got closer, I saw his half profile and could tell it’s really him.
Btw, someone said behind me he is a BTS member. When it seemed like he will leave the store, the crowd got crazy, there were people with banners, flowers, etc. When he left, he smiled, waved, gave autographs, made hearts with his fingers. (Check twitter or other social medias for pictures and videos about it.) He was really friendly and kind and was surprised by the big crowd.
What I can tell now is that he looks like an idol, but he has such a friendly and kind aura when he smiles. He radiated positive energies. And yeah, he was handsome and tall. I saw twitter posts about fans taking pictures with him later in front of Duomo di Milano, I was basically there all day, but well.
Also, when we were walking to our hotel later at night, we bumped into another bunch of people waiting outside of the Dolce & Gabbana Martini bar, I found out later that The Boyz members, DPR IAN and Thai actors Force & Book were inside.

am I the only one thinking thats creepy? I mean the crowding of idols/actors or whoever. just the same with airports. taking a look is fine, dont get me wrong, but crowding like that so the person cant move freely anymore is just fucked up to me.

No, I don’t think it’s only you. But I think this was a little bit different from what happens at airports. Here, nobody tried to push or touch him and left him enough space to leave the store. He wasn’t uncomfortable (seemingly). Also, people didn’t push each other either, everybody just waited patiently, while at airports, it’s like a war. I don’t say this is good or better, but it wasn’t like the typical airport madness.

u know, when ppl thirst for a sensation. they could have just taken a look and walked by after 1min, but they decided to stay and film him instead.
that alone is stepping over a line. I understand that if u are famous u will loose some of your privacy, but I belive famous ppl have a right of privacy too. he was there for private shopping, not for a job after all.

I can’t argue with this, because yes, they deserve privacy just like everybody else, too. But sadly, that’s not how this world works. Nobody just takes a look and walks away if someone famous is there.
I honestly can’t see that it will change in the future. When idols literally fall at the airports and there is no consequences that talks a lot.
