I never thought I'd say that because it's something that's been such a big part of my life for a while now, I've met amazing people in the community, the variety shows made me laugh and smile and it's something that I'm grateful for because it provided me with comfort when I most needed it. It just hasn't felt the same for me for a while, I like some songs still and still think the members are great but it just... I guess you can say lost it's spark for me.


I don't even think I can say I stan BTS anymore, they'll always have a special place in my heart but I just haven't been as invested into them or Kpop as I used to be. Maybe the 'spark' will happen again but right now I'm pretty sure I'm moving on from the genre as a whole. ​

I feel like this sometimes too but then one of my bias groups come back and then I'm hooked again.

Maybe you're just becoming more of a casual fan now, I feel like most people kind of reach that point in life where their "stan phase" kind of ends...

Being the casual fan and not taking things too seriously is the best way to be a fan :).
Just have fun with it, take it easy, enjoy the conversations, enjoy the people.
I think we all grow out of it and then sometimes we go back to it and sometimes we don´t.
I used to be a huuuuuge fan of Placebo. I´ve moved on, but it is still what pushed me further, got me into other things etc.

I like kpop, it is great, but honestly I am so amazed what a huge community-feeling it also provides.
Not that i´m a community person, not that I´m an extrovert. But I´m just enjoying the ride :D.

I feel like that sometimes, like a few weeks ago i was jamming to every kpop song i knew but right now it's just like, "Yeah ok i guess i'll listen to it." but i know that i'll eventually get that spark where i'll be jumping up and down about it some much that i'll get a head ache, it's kinda like a cycle for me i guess. Just do whatever makes you happy~

But tbh, there are many kpop-wetern artists who mix the style like DPR, Dean, Jay Park, 3racha (Stray Kids rappers) etc. Bang Yongguk :).
They are more krap, r and b, english-korean-whatever langauge comes to their head.
I´m all about it, let me ....very gently ...drag you down into that hole :D.
