That's why Jennie did justice when she called out the people who went to BLACKPINK's concert (Only to be on their phones) when they could've just enjoy the time vibing and dancing, feeling the excitement of the performance ALSO, I would still love to see the colorful ocean arenas

I can't agree with that last statement that "regular affordability is a nonissue" because when I've tried to get tickets for Stray Kids and ATEEZ at certain venues the WORST seats are minimum $250. If you open up ATEEZ right now, if there are seats still available, they're probably even higher than that. Same thing happened to me in 2023 with Stray Kids.

In some larger venues, the cheapest seats do indeed provide great experiences - I don't have an issue with that. Additionally, I think fans that sit in those seats end up having the most fun. An example I have of that is that my tickets for NCT 127 were 3rd floor second row and under $100 per ticket - that's AMAZING (venue capacity around 20k)

In Chicago the groups generally either get the BEST venue or subpar ones. If they get the best one I've never seen pricing problems ALTHOUGH blackpink was more expensive. That may be because of YG because those base prices for pit were $1250.... any other chicago venue that's on ticket master is AWFUL. When Itzy, GIDLE, Stray Kids, aespa went to venue A the tickets get sold out so fast and then are resold at astronomical proces. Venue B, which I've gone to for Nct Dream, IVE - thats the one ATEEZ was set to play at and ticketing was absolutely destroyed, marked up way too high by resellers and tickets gone way too fast. IVE tickets were very inexpensive for the seat i got (pit) which i appreciated and honestly they should've gone to Venue A and not this one. Venue B is larger and it makes ZERO sense for the groups that played at venue A to go there instead of B. NCT Dream my ticket was expensive for a bad seat - I think it cost me $25 less than my IVE pit seat 🧍‍♀ and both were significantly more expensive than NCT 127 which I saw at the BEST venue.

Idk it's ridiculous there are so many factors and hoops to jump though

I will comment purely about the pricing aspect of concerts...

you can't change supply and demand...that's basic economics...

either people will lose out due to pricing or people will lose out due to time

pricing in terms of concerts being too expensive or scalpers etc etc

time in terms of if pricing is too cheap then first in first serve
