I try not to carry cards with me when I don't plan to spend money, so tbh, some of this saves me from impulse spending.

The absurd rise in takeout prices has also forced me to really cut back on eating out, so like, it sucks, but it's also probably better that my environment forces good habits on me, lol.

I thought "how cool" when they put credit card scannners on the vending machine at the college. About a month after they discovered the scanners had been hacked and all kinds of people's accounts got stolen from. Luckily I still used cash.
