Last night I made muffins for my family, there was twelve, two for each person

After I was done I covered them up, I wiped down the counters and washed all the dishes in the sink, I made sure everything was perfect because my dad hates messes so I was happy that when he woke up there would be no mess and muffins to take to work

Anyway I woke up this morning and my youngest sister ate them all with her fingers, literally gouging them out instead of just taking a knife, left all the crumbs all over the counters, the muffin tin practically on its side, absolutely nothing left, looks like a muffin bomb went off. It was like that for a while, before my dad even woke up which means he saw the mess and is most likely assuming it was me

Now my mom is making ME clean up not only her mess but the entire kitchen and refusing to punish her favorite child "because she's already being punished for something else" ugh I am so PISSED

I haven't been this angry in a long time

Oh I’m so sorry, that sounds similar to some things that happened to me when I was younger. It can be extremely stressful

As I've experienced this exact situation, screaming into a pillow and punching a mattress helps with the anger (altho it's not healthy, so I don't recommend *wink wink*). Maybe try to go to your mom later when she's in a good mood and explain the situation could help.

That's yikes, she should receive as much punishment as she does wrong and it is backwards logic to avoid giving her too much punishment but be fine with giving you punishment while doing nothing wrong.
