I wonder if the color difference means that yesweare is going to be more of a light/boyish kind of sound.

IT'S SO CONFUSING, omg.

idntt (pronounced "identity") is the main group, which is composed of three subunits containing 8 members each. So all the stuff that's been released as "idntt" so far is actually from the first subunit, unevermet. They are now gearing up to debut the second subunit, yesweare, which will also include a song of the group so far.

Sometime later, there will be a third subunit, itsnotover. After all three subunits debut and all the members are known to the public, then fans can vote to rearrange the members, so the 8 currently in each subunit aren't necessarily going to stay there. (I understand this voting scheme is part of the reason why TripleS's fans are so invested, but I honestly don't get it.)

Oh, and all the groups technically have an 8 in their name (uneverm8t, yesw8are, and itsnotov8r) but of course, they are not consistently promoted under their separate group names or with the 8. Like I found this photo on the group's YouTube community tab, and they don't include the 8 there.

I liked the debut album, so I'm curious to follow along, but idk how most fans don't go "that's too much work to track" and check out.

And I honestly just assumed they were going to be a regular 8-member group... The only confusing thing was that I didn't (and still don't) know which track on unevermet was supposed to be the title track. Well, as long as the music remains good.....

I think technically, they were all supposed to be treated as title tracks. But from what I've seen online, each of the subunits is going to have a song named after them on their debut album, so people are treating You Never Met as the "main" title.
