Less because expiring means it’s at the end of doing what it’s supposed to have done. For food that does mean it can become poisonous because it’s at the end of being a consumable object, but because poison is supposed to be poisonous it stops being poisonous. Idk if this is even right it’s just what my brain thought of

I guess it depends. Hydrogen peroxide breaks down to water and oxygen; so it gets innocuous. Others may not.
