considering in the resonance behind the scenes (? when they introduced new members, can´t remember what it was), they said they have never been together like that. I assume Baekhyun knows only a few members of NCT :D, so putting him through such a jungle ... I would feel sorry for him. Though I think he would be great, he is all fun and pranks, but can be superserious about work.

SuperM "debuted" in 2019. D.O. was in the military and he is also usually busy with his acting side projects. Chen was about to enlist (he enlisted in October 2020), so they probably calculated well that they would not be interested or available. Also, I don´t think that either of them fits the SuperM concept. Baekhyun is a brilliant vocal, Kai is a wonderful dancer.
The only other person I could maaaayyyybeee imagine in SuperM is Sehun.
Baekhyun should enlist in 2021 and some calculations are talking about May 2021. Still too early, but maybe that is why they are giving more vocal lines to Ten? Ten doesn´t have to participate in the military despite Thailand having the mandatory military service.

i feel like superm will be on hold if kair baekhyun overlap while in military at all cause there be only 1 member not from superm
and taemin has to go basically at the same time so
baekhyun 28 taemin 27 kai 26
then there is
taeyong 25
... so looks like they had a end date planned for superm maybe
