On (maybe) a similar subject; do you know if there are as much fights among jpop fans as in kpop? I have found hackers to be quite friendly and peaceful. I've seen something similar among Ladybaby fans. Have you found something different?

Oh there is SO MUCH fighting
Sakamichi fans fighting with 48g fans and vice versa
There is also SO MUCH infighting between different member fandoms in 48g, The Jurina and Sakura fans HATED eachother

Since I'd say in jpop it's also a lot more acceptable to be a member of JUST one member instead of the whole group, that can cause a lot of friction.

But also the international jpop fanbase is a lot calmer than the kpop one, purely bcs there is nowhere near as many people

I don't follow those groups, so I don't know much of them. I only followed one AKB member who already graduated, and I didn't follow her for her idol career. I don't think that's enough to say I was an AKB fan. To be honest, so long as I know, all the groups I follow come from very small companies, and I don't know what's happening inside of them.

Honestly I just have friends who keep me up to date lmao
I have a friend who is REALLY into AKB (and speaks Japanese on top of it) who keeps me up to date with everything I wanna know

And with Sakuzaka I follow a few twitter accounts who do great updates and translations
