If you found out in the future your fav idol(s) are for an absolute fact total btches or Aholes (not sure if i can use the words without getting into trouble ) (found out by actual real evidence , like videos and stuff)
would you still stan because they make good music and got talented voice / visuals or dance skills
or would you stop stanning and be like; fak you for being a total Ahole or Btch - like principles actually matter?

honestly, i would stop stanning idols if i found out they totally are rude and mean to everyone around them
i only support people if they cute sweet and kind and are as hot as twice, blackpink, shinee or vixx

I mean it depends on what they would do? Like if it was a serious crime or they would seriously disrespect someone, I would definitely stop supporting their music, but if they are just "not as warm" to fans as some other stars and prefer their own privacy and keep their distance (I´m mentioning this because sometimes people twist and turn it into "arrogance" and "disrespect" while some people just enjoy making music but don´t enjoy being idols, then I am here for the music.

I do like watching interviews and variety shows though and get some little glimpses into their characters. So, maybe I´m a hypocrite, but who knows what is real :D.

I´m not Bieber´s fan, but I think the reason why people like him is party because he is relatively handsome (to each their own, we can debate on his looks, but he certainly not ugly) and he makes catchy music. Not all his songs are absolutely terrible. And while he was a little spoiled kid growing up, he was also a kid that worked many many many hours and had to go through a lot. People constantly make fun of him being stupid, but what kind of an education could he get when he got famous at 12? I have no idea what he was like before he became famous, maybe he was a terrible kid and everyone was just happy that he left, but didn´t he have to leave school and his friends and become his "mamma´s little star"?
He was a teenager after all, a little reckless, a little lost, a little "the world is mine", a little bit of "just a kid". I think that he has been settling down a bit.

If it was proven they were just assholes. It would be very disappointing but I don't think that would be enough for me to stop stanning. Most of my childhood heroes from the 80s and 90s have since been revealed to be jack ass douchbags. But I'm still their fan and watch their movies.

Back in the day I don't doubt for a second that Krystal could be difficult sometimes. Maybe not as extreme as Irene but she could get into her moods. That still doesn't phase me. Everyone's personality and how they handle stress is different.

But when it comes to real crimes. Like rape, theft, and murder. You're CANCELED. Doesn't matter who you are.

it depends on what they did. of course i hope they're at least decent people, but i don't know any k-pop idols personally and i'm not going to act like it's any different. if it's a serious crime then obviously i would obviously stop supporting them without a second thought. if it's just having a bad personality then i wouldn't stop listening to their songs because after all music is the most important thing to me when it comes to supporting a group, but at the same time i wouldn't defend their behaviour and act like what they did wasn't wrong because defending someone you don't even know and speaking over those who do is pointless. outside of k-pop it's different i guess because my favourite musician is not here to defend herself in such situations so i wouldn't even care tbh.

Honestly if it was proven that they had a rotten personality I may still listen to the music but not follow them with their activities if you get what I mean. But if they commit a crime I probably won’t follow them at all after that. The only times I’ve had this happen was with Jun Hyung from Highlight and then most recently with Himchans scandals.
