and what's this about Fromis leaving Pledis? I saw two threads in my notifs talking about it.

fromis_9's exclusive contract with Pledis expires at the end of the year, and it seems none of the members will be re-signing. They're going to release a fan song on 12/23 and that's basically the end of it.

I did! last night, we went to an Italian restaurant for dinner, had homemade pecan pie at my parents' house, and we also watched the dog show together. Today, we saw Red One and then went to the conservatory before they dropped me off.

Yeah, the whole thing is crazy to me. I'm surprised Pledis didn't bother to leverage how successful their Supersonic comeback was this summer into granting whatever concessions the girls would want to sign for even another one-year contract. They're clearly on the upswing, but IDK, you're right, Pledis never seems to know what to do once it starts getting somewhere.
