So I was reading more about couscous and very confused
First I read there’s 3 main couscous types: Moroccan (the smallest), Israeli (also known as pearl couscous, middle size wise), and Lebanese couscous (the biggest). Now I’m reading that Israeli couscous isn’t actually couscous because of a few reasons but one stated it’s too big? Which would rule out Lebanese couscous logically too. But there’s more, pearl couscous, which was said to be the same as Israeli couscous, is couscous. But once I started researching Lebanese couscous to see if it’s actually couscous the first thing that popped up said Lebanese couscous was also known as pearl couscous and at this point I’m just I can get there being nuances. But how is pearl couscous simultaneously Israeli couscous (which isn’t couscous like pearl is) and also Lebanese couscous? Even if they mean it’s the same size as those how is it the same size as Israeli and Lebanese when those are different sizes? And I haven’t even looked into Lebanese or golden couscous at the time of writing this so I don’t even know what confusion that holds.

There’s also Brazilian couscous? But thats not really couscous cause its mainly corn?

Yeah if it made it corn I guess it wouldn’t be considered couscous, like Israeli couscous does at least have most ingredients in common I think and still isn’t considered couscous because of method of making it or something. Ill have to look into Brazilian couscous, I’ve never heard of it
