So here's some random tiger facts

- Tigers have lost approx. 95% of their original historical range.
- Approx. 1200 to 1500 livestock is killed yearly by wild tigers.
- Retaliatory Killings involve poisoning the carcass when a tiger leaves it, so when the tiger comes back to eat it, it gets poisoned.
- 8 tigers, on average, die monthly.
- Tiger parts can sell for more than $50,000 on the black market.
- White tigers were bred by humans just for the aesthetics. The tigers who live in snowy forest habitats aren't white -> just a lighter shade of orange.
- The 5 main reasons why tiger populations are decreasing so rapidly are: climate change, habitat loss, poaching, illegal trading of tiger parts, & human conflict.
- It is highly likely that tigers will be extinct (in the wild) by 2050.
