I am praying for you I did the grind back in middle school. The best advice I have is to skip every single filler episode and only watch the arcs that actually mean something to the plot. One Piece is one of the best there is and you won't regret watching it

This is also true. You can skip the filler episodes (there are 192 filler episodes)... So that is about 900 episodes if you decide cut out the filler arcs.
