Ohh you've made it! I still only do it for my favorite groups. I think Twice is the only group whose behind-the-scenes content I follow regularly. But I feel like it's kind of hard to catch up on it.

For the longest time, when I was only just a blink, I watched their content but didn't really interact with fans. It was like I was in my own little world every time I watched them. I think watching stuff on a gaming console more than other devices contributed a lot to that lol. And then I started to realize how popular Blackpink was and then I was sort of freaking out because I couldn't comprehend those numbers except for on Despacito and Baby Shark mvs.

Yep. It definitely is time-consuming though. I always laugh with Twice's content so I watch it a lot. But also seeing SIXTEEN was such a different vibe. It was so high-stake and even though I already knew the results, I was at the edge of my seat. It's not like they didn't seem happy but it was like they constantly had this pressure on them and that sort of hurt to watch also I got to connect with the members on what seems like a more personal level (even though I obviously don't know them irl LOL)

I know...but I didn't realize that until later too 😅 It's kind of hard to explain but when I first joined the blink fandom (and KPOP in general) and started watching their stuff, I would see the views but I would never interact with fans simply because I never really thought of it. This didn't last too long as I started to join forum communities and Quora and such but I remember becoming obsessed with DDDD and then watching all of their music videos and going back and start watching their content 😆 Call me basic but without DDDD, I wouldn't even be on any forum most likely. Or I would've discovered the industry a lot later as my love for the music has caused me to basically be destined to love KPOP LOL

That's also a good point. Yeah, it's been a few years since I first started being a fan even though it feels like a lot less time. But KPOP is undeniably growing. All my friends have heard of it and I've met a few people at my school who are fans but there is also still a misconception that KPOP is not good. Some people think the fans are weird or they can't understand it or whatever but sometimes, fans of the industry irl are treated how anime fans in school used to be treated I would say even though now there's more acceptance for everyone due to globalization ig.
